TEN tips on how to have a eco-friendly wedding.

1. Use all local wedding vendors. {check out our LIST members, they are all LOCAL}

4. Decorate with branches or other the natural surroundings. {I used dried fall leaves scattered down the aisle and for decor}

5. Use beeswax candles or soy-based candles.

6.When printing for your wedding, use a printer that can use paper with a high percentage of post-consumer recycled content.

7. Buy a diamond mined from Canada or Australia for your engagement ring.

8. Wear a dress made of raw silk. Adele Wechsler is a great eco-friendly designer and her gowns are available at Anna Be {LISTmember}.

9. Use locally grown flowers for your arrangements. {check out our florist to help you with this}

10. Instead of giving away traditional wedding favors, you can donate to charitable institutions. Check out Changing the Present. They even have a easy to way for couples to register as well. Just another great idea to keeping your wedding green.
