Laura Dombrowski {founder | editor-in-chief}
Laura is very well-versed in the ins and outs of running her own business. Just two years after earning her business degree from the University of Denver with a double major in finance and statistics, Laura switched gears and started her own photography studio in 2003. Over the course of her photography career she has photographed over 100 weddings worldwide. As a professional photographer, Laura’s work has been published in The Knot Colorado, Premier Bride, Fortune Magazine, Colorado Homes, and Europe’s.net Magazine among others. She was named the Knot’s Best of Wedding pick 2008/2009. She was also voted TOP 5 BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS in Colorado by 7 NEWS in 2007 and 2008. In 2008, Laura made her television debut on the STYLE Network, photographing a fashion shoot for the television show “Split Ends”.
Currently, Laura focuses the majority of her time on COUTUREcolorado. She is thrilled with spending her days showing off the talent of local wedding professionals and the weddings they create on COUTUREcolorado WEDDING. She is passionate about the art of weddings and has always had a deep respect for the entrepreneurial spirit. With developing the LIFE & STYLE site, she is honored to showcase distinctive stylish Colorado businesses. Having lived in Denver for 14 years, she is ecstastic to have a voice to inspire the modern Colorado woman.
