Notes from the Bride: There were several things that made our day special including incorporating our dogs into the wedding and offering a custom, cigar rolling booth that had our monograms on the cigar wrapper. Also, instead of a unity candle, we used decided to use dirt and plant a flower. We did this because my husband owns his own excavation company and we wanted to incorporate his life’s work into our ceremony. We flew in dirt from Pennsylvania (where my husband is from) and used dirt from Colorado to plant the seed of our new beginning together.
