a MODERN CHIC wedding in downtown denver at the brand new FOUR SEASONS - part I
I am thrilled to feature a wedding at the new Denver Four Seasons. I have enjoyed several happy hour’s with girlfriends at their Edge Bar. They have a fantastic cocktail menu.
Words from the photographer: The clients originally wanted the wedding to be outside on the pool deck at the Four Seasons. But due to their wedding date – an outdoor wedding was just to much of a gamble. The client wasn’t originally in love with the ballroom… she wanted a crystal chandelier romantic, elegant wedding. Julie designed an amazingly intimate ‘ceremony in the round’ with an air wall separating the reception area from the intimate ceremony area. Then during the reception (dinner) the ceremony was transitioned to a dance lounge. Dinner was creatively served with live cooking stations and wine recommendations (congruent with each station’s dinner choice). After dinner, the first dance included a ‘big reveal’ as the air wall separating the reception area from the dance lounge was pulled back revealing the bride and groom.
Advice from the bride: I think hiring a wedding planner was the best thing we could have done! We aren’t super creative and needed some help to create a vision that represented our style. Julie helped create a dream wedding that was even more amazing than we could have imagined.
