Molly and Jer originally met in Crested Butte, CO, Although they were living in Chicago, they wanted to have their wedding on the mountaintop – bringing their favorite people to their favorite place. Mollye wore Monique Lhuillier and the guys all wore brown suits, which completed the girls’ copper bridesmaid dresses. The fall colors were in full effect on top of the mountain, especially after a rain/snow storm that kept everyone on their toes. Right before the ceremony, the skies cleared and the sun came out, to give everyone a view of the snow-covered mountains. Mollye’s 90-year-old grandfather, who is a Baptist preacher, officiated their ceremony. Their dog, Marley, walked down the aisle with Jer, complete with a tie around his neck. A live band played classic rock all night long, and Jer and Mollye surprised all their guests with a private fireworks show.
