Laura Dombrowski

I am a small town girl from the Midwest.  I moved to Denver in 1997 to attend the University of Denver. There I earned a business degree with a double major in finance and statistics. Also at DU, I took most of my elective classes in photography.  Once I graduated in 2001, I couldn’t picture myself doing anything but photography.

In my twenties, I poured my heart into photography.  I loved shooting everything. Weddings somehow stuck with me through the years. I loved the fashion, the decor, the style, and all the love and emotions happening in one day.  In the last ten years, I have been a bridesmaid 9 times, photographed over 100 weddings, and finally was a bride in October of 2009.  What can I say, I have seen it all from the backyard celebrations to the black-tie classic weddings.  I have fallen completely and madly in love with the art of weddings.

Now freshly in my thirties, I needed a new challenge in my life.  COUTUREcolorado was born on Feburary 14, 2010 just a few months after my own wedding.  I thought there were a lot of  incredible weddings happening right here in Colorado going unnoticed.  I wanted to shine some light on the these weddings and on the wedding professionals that help create these incredible events. COUTUREcolorado’s goal is to not only inspire but to guide the Colorado bride with her wedding planning. Since then, COUTUREcolorado has grown into two more blogs: LIFE & STYLE and BABY.
