Attimo, a beautiful winery in Downtown Denver, opened early in January of 2020. Most of their time open has been surrounded by closures, restrictions and balancing new rules and regulations, but this exquisite winery never faltered and is considered a new hidden gem in LoDo.

A little history: Owner, John Schlegel opened Snooze by 30 and had dreams of living abroad by 40. In 2013, his dreams became a reality. He took his wife, Megan, and their son to Italy purchasing their own small Barolo vineyard. Jon spent many days and nights working on the vineyard and developing relationships with the producers whose families ancestors have been making wine in the area for generations. Jon eventually returned to Denver and brought a piece of Italy with him-- Attimo.

Megan was the interior designer of Attimo, bringing the beautiful olive green and blue palettes that fill Attimo's tasting room to life. The family's personal photos of their Italian excursions are perfectly distributed around the room while the Tuscan tile on the floor catches your eye as you walk in. The food is delicious and purposefully paired with their wine that people can enjoy on tap or in a bottle. High quality rustic wood tables and white leather chairs, couches and bar stools fill the room for an intimate and social feel. On the second level, a large room of exposed brick wall fills the east wall, with windows overlooking the winery on the west. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling to add an element of elegance for small private events and weddings. In the back of the building, large wine barrels are stacked and fermenting tanks align much of the space to create different types of wine.

This backdrop was perfection for this Italian wedding styled shoot.
