Chic In The City At The Denver Art Museum

Notes for the Bride: How did you two meet? We met at a party in Chicago that a mutual friend threw. I saw Dan walk in the door and said to a friend "I'm going to be friends with that guy by the end of the night." Sure enough we become friends that night, but he had a girlfriend so that's as far as it went. He kept in touch and 5 years later we were both finally single at the same time. 5 years after that we are married. Favorite wedding moment? Talking to Dan about this we realized that our experiences of the night were so different. We both agreed that the toasts were the most special to us. From my dads out of character performance to Dan's brothers off the cuff toast to Amy's thoughtful speech to the ceremony that my brother performed. They all made us feel so loved and happy to have the friends and family that we do. Any advice planning a wedding? Get a good planner that you like and trust. Then anything you want you just say it and they make it happen or tell you it's a bad idea. That saved my sanity and got me the wedding of my dreams. To start off, Dan is a photographer, and from what we heard he was picky about choosing their photographer, so to say we are honored they chose us is a complete understatement. We had such a great time documenting their wedding and celebration. What a great modern venue to juxtapose against the old world charm of the Oxford Hotel where they stayed as well as got ready. Their wedding planner, Kara Delay, of Love This Day Events, was just so wonderful to work with and so much fun. All the details were so perfect for them and it was a very fun night!
