Notes from Kira Weddings and Events:

As event professionals, we work hard year round to create spectacular events for our clients. However, we rarely get the chance to sit back and soak in the details. Caitlin Caldwell, the owner of Vintage Magnolia, had the idea to create a space for event professionals to get together, network and enjoy a beautifully designed party.

Even though the venue was industrial, we loved the warmth of the wooden barrels and copper boilers. The focal point of the party was the 22 feet long grazing charcuterie & cheese runner by The Grazing Fox. Because of the vibrant colors of the runner, we decided to go with a soft, muted palette for everything else. We created the white tables out of palettes and accented them with knitted, velvet, and fur pillows. The Chandlerie created custom taupe taper candles to enhance the autumn feeling.

We made the dessert station a statement area. We used a vintage white table and accented it with velvet linen and a copper arch. The desserts by Kenzie of Coppelia Cakes were were also centered around the fall theme. Kenzie created dark chocolate Pomegranate tarts and pumpkin chocolate cake.

We ended the night with a "flower olympics" where we had everyone pair off in teams and race to create centerpieces. Everyone was so thankful to be treated after a busy wedding season. It was a night to remember!
