Notes from the bride, Caitlin: What was your favorite part of the wedding day? The first look! Zach and I were both so nervous for some reason, but instantly felt better once we saw each other. Then we were able to take a deep breath and get excited for the ceremony and reception. What was your favorite thing to design? The flowers, definitely. I had a great time sitting down with Lilli at Bella Call and discussing different colors, flower types, etc. But I cant forget the menu and cupcakes tastings those were super fun, for obvious reasons. If you could give one piece of advice to other brides who are planning their wedding right now, what would it be? Just one? Okay, Ill try! Dont procrastinate. Im a huge procrastinator normally, so I forced myself to get the planning done early, and not just the fun parts like cake tasting. I tried to stay on top of it as possible so that I had time to ask questions, adjust numbers, change orders, and so on, to make sure that everything was the way we wanted. It gave me a chance to relax in the weeks before the wedding, because there was nothing I needed to take care of at the last minute. Bonus tip: Make sure you eat at the reception! Where are you going for your honeymoon? Playa del Carmen, Mexico! We cant wait for beach time. Anything else youd like to share? I know its clich, but on your wedding day, just try to take a step back and take it all in. During the ceremony I made sure to look out at my guests. It was so nice to see all of our family and friends gathered together to celebrate with us. Ill never forget it.
