Mining Town Hiking Engagement

Notes from the photographer Nina of Larsen Photo Co.: 

We met on a cold and windy afternoon in December, and spent the first half of our hike getting to know each other. Now I really wish I had been filming their faces when we rounded the final corner of the trail, and saw the old mining buildings in front of us. We spent the next hour exploring the old buildings and the abandoned mine, and guessing at what life must have been like up there for miners in the early 20th century, before hiking back down under the most beautiful peach colored sunset sky.
