Notes from the florist, LISTmember Cori Cook: Sara & Andy were married in May in Denver. Like their own personalities, their wedding design was modern, fresh, and fun. Their colors were black and white with pops of green. Bridesmaids wore different styles of black cocktail dresses. They each carried modern bouquets of green cymbidium orchids, white calla lilies, hypericum berry, and a ti-leaf loop border. Sara�s bouquet was a lush, hand-tied bouquet made of peonies and lily of the valley. It was tied in tulle taken from the hat that her mother wore on her own wedding day and finished with pearl accents all the way down the bouquet handle.
Their ceremony had two framing arrangements of white cherry blossom branches and the seats on the aisle had a small floral accent of cymbidium orchids and ti-leaf loops. The reception had a modern vibe with a cluster of submerged white arrangements of tulips, dendrobium orchids, and calla lilies.
