VINTAGE MEETS MODERN wedding style shoot by a few of our LISTmembers: Blue Bridal, Fleur D�cor, Natosha Cooke Makeup Artistry, and Yours Truly Cupcake.
Notes from the creators of this shoot: The goal for this shoot was to produce a vintage meets modern ambiance. When designing it, we needed a color palette that would complement the dark floors and space of the art gallery, but would also help provide a vintage appearance. Light pink, white, silver and gold were perfect! The art gallery naturally provided an eclectic and modern appearance. But it was elements such as the bride�s fashion forward dress, the hanging rose wristlets instead of bouquets and the metallic cake that had the biggest impact. The champagne bar is another modern element we added to create inspiration and a fun twist on beverage buffets. Bridesmaids wore gunmetal grey dresses to match the high fashion, modern look of the bride and groom. Antique furniture, vintage china, mini cupcakes tucked away in tea leaves and roses hanging above a reclaimed farm table rounded out the vintage portion. The hair and makeup concept was created to compliment the vintage charm as well as bringing in modern elements.
