Inspired by Slim Aaron’s infamous 1964 photograph, Verbier Vacation, this shoot blended the apres-ski culture of the Alps with Colorado’s 60s and 70s ski era in a bridal shoot at a new event venue, Treehaus, just outside of Boulder.

On this groovy snow-kissed day, Veuve Clicquot bottles were popped, one-piece ski suits were stepped into, vintage sleds set the stage, along with an Airstreams, a daisy bouquet, an alter made from skis, record players, disco balls, and even a sauna, amidst a backdrop that effortlessly blends classic ski memories with bridal couture. The patterns and tones used throughout this styled shoot channeled Colorado’s snow lodge '70s culture with a nod to high-fashion.

The color palette that repped the 70s in true form: marigolds, mushrooms, daisies and gypsophila complimented the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
