When I chose my MARC by Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Eliz-A-Baby Diaper Bag, I thought that the 'cement' taupe color was a fantastic neutral: not as boring as black, but would go with every outfit. I know, I was unusually practical in that decision. I love my bag, but each season, I still eye all of the newly released prints, patterns, and colors. Yes, I'm a sucker for the words "limited edition." This Spring, the Lemon Custard, Apricot Rose, and Anemone print in Safety Yellow bags have me swooning. Lemon is the perfect pop against all our lavender and mint pastels. Peach and navy match just about everything in Viv's closet for summer. And how perfect is the neon + navy stripe with the stroller I was coveting last week?
One tip: if you feel a wee bit bored with your bag, you can do what I did... turn it inside out. When cleaning out my bag, I realized it is fully reversible it to its black + white logo print. In fact, I may like the pocket placement even better this way, maximizing both organization and style.
