The Denver Beer Trail, is a free booklet that offers a map and a guide to 20 downtown-area Denver breweries. The passport-sized publication offers information about what makes each brewery unique, a suggested signature beer at each brewery, as well as room for tasting notes and a "Been there" box to check off. The free guide can be picked up at the downtown Denver Tourist Information Center on California Street, between 15th and 16th streets. You can also view and download the map and guide here. 1. Baere Brewing Co. Baere Brewing has a strong following of locals from Denver's Baker neighborhood. The bar is made from reclaimed boxcar floors and the aesthetic is warm and comforting. 2. Beryl's Beer Co. From brandy to wine to whiskey, Beryl's elevates flavors and explores new territory in the barrel-aging process. And they enhance the whole brewery experience with live music and open mic nights throughout the year. 3. Black Sky Brewery At Black Sky, heavy metal constantly pours through the speakers while 23 taps pour Black Sky brews as well as Colorado guest beers. New Haven-style pizza is served daily, and the outdoor patio is the perfect lunch spot. 4. Breckenridge Brewery Enjoy stunning mountain views from The Farm House at Breckenridge Brewery. The beer garden is complete with picnic tables, lush landscapes, covered seating and a "Colorado fresh" menu. 5. Denver ChopHouse & Brewery The Denver ChopHouse & Brewery offers handcrafted beer brewed on site. The beer is the perfect complement to the diverse menu featuring steaks, chops and seafood. 6. Home to one of the largest outdoor patios in the city, Denver Beer Co. has established itself as a top spot to enjoy a craft beer during one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine. 8. Epic Brewing In 2013, Epic expanded its operations with a second brewery in the River North (RiNo) district. The spacious tap room has 25 taps offering seasonal and special "one off" firkins. 9. Factotum Brewhouse Amateur brewers are the root of Denver's craft beer success, and Factotum Brewhouse provides homebrewers a stage to display their craft, refine recipes and receive unbiased public feedback. Fiction Beer Company Fiction Beer Company crafts liquid literature through recipes inspired by the brewer's favorite works of fiction. Grab a seat at the bar made out of books, ponder literary quotes written on the tables or relax on the patio with a pale ale inspired by Jack Kerouac's On the Road. 11. Great Divide Brewing Co. Great Divide's flavorful beers represent a lifestyle that is uniquely Colorado. Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery Adventurous people making adventurous beer. Jagged Mountain maintains this theme by exploring new styles and ingredients, rejecting standard styles and regularly offering varied selections of craft beer. Lost Highway Brewing Company The first brewery located on Denver's historic Colfax Ave., Lost Highway specializes in Belgian-style ales. The name is a reference to the Five Points neighborhood's rich history as a jazz hub of the west. Records line the walls and jazz sets the mood throughout the tap room. TRVE Brewing Company TRVE visitors are greeted with an iconic long wooden table, perfect for socializing and the sounds of heavy metal. Wynkoop Brewing Company Founded by Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper, Denver's first microbrewery is home to a restaurant, 22 pool tables, two private pool rooms, dart boards, shuffle board lanes and 40 styles of beer.
