Photographer: Kerinsa Marie Photography Notes from the Mom, Lonnalee {local business owner or Lovelee Flowers} : The Anderson family is comprised of Mollie Lou, currently 6 years old and the resident wee one in charge. I count on her for many things, maybe too much. She is wonderfully sweet and compliant, hard working and compassionate. One of her favorite things is to trick or scare her father (who is easily startled) or I. She is just a doll. Her younger brother by seventeen months, is Ryle. He is aptly named as I find my self constantly saying to him about his sisters hey, dont get her riled up! He is a tremendously engaging and talkative young boy. He draws about fifty pictures per day and his favorite things are football and spending time with his daddy. (His words) I will cry when he no longer lets me lift him. Then there is our sweet peach, Georgia. Currently one, she has us feeling like we pulled the wild card. She is super energetic and into everything, much more so than the other two. She is very sweet and loves to be personally engaged and will flirt with you by open mouth kissing whatever comes at her. I love rocking her briefly before bed when she will let me tickle her back sweetly for a minute or so. Any more than that and she is ready to play again. She has been super fun so far. As a mom of three, I am sure you have learned a lot. Any words of wisdom to those just starting on this journey? I think starting when youre first starting out, everything is so scary, but its also so exciting. Youve never experienced feelings like this before when seeing a little blob blow bubbles for the first time, or mimic your sounds, or giggle, or roll over you even find yourself cheering them on when they have done a good poop. Things you never knew could be so exciting. Or maybe these things dont excite you. Maybe more often then not, you are missing alone time or anything closely reminiscent. Wherever you find yourself on the spectrum, as the saying goes, the days seem slow, but the years pile up so quickly. Instead of taking things day by day or week by week as we do as single adults, mothers need to learn to take things moment to moment. You cant always plan, rather, you can rarely plan because you child lives extremely in each moment. The more flexible you become, the more you are able to enjoy each moment. The less you expect to stick to a particular plan, the more you enjoy the sweet interruptions, or the more you can adjust fully to the scary moments, like sickness. The more you embrace the never ending needs of your little human, the more you will love them. You will be through each season so quickly. Allow the sweet moments to pile up in your heart. These can be the most strenuous days and years of your life, but the more you embrace them, the sweeter they become. I am positive I will deeply miss the years of little crawlers scooting up to gob a kiss on me. I have never been so tired, or so captivated.
