Notes from Colorado Mom , Brittin: Ever since our photographer, Kevin Von Qualen, submitted photos of our engagement session and wedding in Steamboat in 2010, I've loved following Couture Colorado. Greylon's nursery came together after I created a series of art prints featuring all of the little woodland creatures we see in our yard and around our home living in the foothills. I displayed these art prints above his contemporary crib and went with a color palette of gray, yellow and white for the rest of the room. The dresser/changing table was a craigslist find that we sanded and painted yellow and powder-coated the vintage handles. Many of the pillows were hand-made and baby bedding was purchased from various etsy sources. The mirror and lamp on the bookshelf were painted to compliment the room and many of the stuffed animals found on the bookshelf were center-pieces from my baby shower that we wanted to showcase. ----- I personally loved these art prints so much that we are now selling them on our newly launched COUTUREcolorado BOUTIQUE.
