Notes for the wedding planners, Kate and Chelsea of Gold Leaf Event:

The wedding took place on the bride’s families home in Old Snowmass, Colorado. Katie’s parents built the ranch on the property long before Katie was even engaged, but sadly during the process her mother fell terminally ill, and sadly knew she wasn’t going to live long enough to see her youngest daughter, Katie get married. Katie’s mother had a love for roses and therefore the ranch was named Rosebud in remembrance of her. Prior to Katie’s mother’s passing, her mother designed a ceremony space off the back of their house and had it built as a wedding gift for Katie. At the ceremony, you’ll see each guest was handed a long stem rose by Katie’s nephews in memory of Katie’s mother; this was truly beautiful to witness, especially being presented in the space Katie’s mom had created specifically for her wedding day. Katie looked stunning in a Monique Lhuillier gown, and the soft white cotton paper with gold ink, adhered to cherry wood boards complimented the mountain back drop and overall natural and organic aesthetic beautifully. In addition we had custom chandeliers built for the clear top tent, dressed elegantly with rose gold draping, and a hanging charcuterie “door-table”.
