Notes from Jacalyn the bride:
In planning for the wedding, we had some criteria we were both pretty adamant about making sure was present. Specifically, Marcio wanted to be in the mountains and I wanted water, a dock, and for it to take place in the fall. It was a tall order for our Wedding planner Cammye Everhart of We Tie The Knots. But when we pulled up to Camp Hale and stepped around the cabin – it was so far above and beyond what we could have pictured for our day. Complete with the dock to the wedding ceremony. Camp Hale has done such an incredible job with this space. Getting married in the mountains of Colorado in the Fall - we truly could not have asked for better weather or colors to set the backdrop of our big day. From there, the planning was easy. We were able to let Colorado’s show off its colors, with pops of some of our favorites. Our photographer, Preston Utley, did an incredible job documenting our day. We were very concerned about the ‘type’ of photos we would have from our day as neither of us like posing for photos. Preston was a perfect fit for us both in personality, and in style, as we wanted a documentation or a story of the day. And he did just that. He and his co-photographer even performed some acrobatics to get the ‘perfect shot.’ Marcio and I tried to keep the design pretty, simple and classy. Fall in the mountains here might just be the most beautiful place to be. And how grateful and blessed are we to start a new chapter of our lives right in the middle of it.
