From the Planner:
When designing Melanie’s wedding, she wanted it to be romantic and elegant with a touch of Colorado. With her soon-to-be last name as Swan, I knew that would be a huge inspiration for design concepts. Her heart's desires were that their wedding would reflect Melanie and Chandler and that their guests would feel special, which really shows comes through in the little details.
From the Bride:
My most anticipated moment of the day is the first look and walking down the aisle.
From the Groom:
For me personally, I am so thrilled and excited to experience the most memorable day of my life with the one I want to spend it with.
The most important thing to the couple was being able to enjoy the day and not be stressed about every small detail. It was important that their photos captured how excited they are to be spending the rest of their lives together.
About the Proposal:
Chandler was supposed to come out on December 24th to spend Christmas with us. But the day before, he and his family flew in from Indianapolis and stayed downtown, hiding from me. My mom took me out shopping for the day and while we were gone, they set up a scavenger hunt through my house, leading me to my backyard filled with Christmas trees and lights. There was a beautiful aisle of candles and it had just started to snow. After he proposed, we had dinner catered to our house and it was just a fun night celebrating with our two families.
How They Met:
We met at a college bar 3 years ago. We had seen each other on Facebook but had never met in person, until a mutual friend pushed me into the circle of girls talking to Chandler. We spent the whole night talking and he begged for my number to take me on a real date.
