Notes from the photographer:
Being a photographer this wedding was a blast! I hadn't met the Bride or Groom in person until the wedding day which is always a little nerve-wracking. . . but these guys were absolutely fantastic! Elyse & Trevor live in Washington DC, but decided to have their wedding in the Brides hometown of Fort Collins. Elyse has such a classic style that shows through in her gown and all her bridal details. She has a timeless beauty about her! Their friends and family were all such a blast to be with and were having so much fun. Elyse & Trevor's first look was on the steps in front of the old Post Office in Downtown Fort Collins where everyone was watching:) They had a wonderful moment and were ready to celebrate the day with their wedding party! I had scouted out some unique locations in Old Town and we wandered the streets and got some pretty awesome photos:) The couple got married in the yard at the historic Avery House just sat the Colorado weather was looking like it might pour on us. The rain managed to hold off and the ceremony was beautiful. Filled with personal touches and emotion, they were finally happy to say "I DO". The couple choose to use very minimal decor for their reception which was held at Ace Gillettes in the basement of The Armstrong Hotel. It used to be an old speak easy and now is a jazz bar. They let the bar speak for itself and partied the night away! I had a wonderful time capturing the days events and hope you enjoy the outcome!
