This glamorous mountain wedding left no detail overlooked. The pink and gold color pallet was incorporated in every detail along with shimmer....lots of shimmer!
Notes from the wedding Sarah of Ever So Chic Events:
We wanted color and texture to play a really strong role in the design. The custom designed invitations and wedding day stationery showed layers of metallic gold, soft blush, and even pops of glitter! The layers of textured blush tulle in the bridal gown was incredibly soft and elegant when set against the pop of the sequins bridesmaid dresses. And, the floral was nothing short of showstopping! At the ceremony, large arrangements framed the couple during their Catholic mass. At the reception, the head table was a main focus of Donovan Pavilion, with blush sequin linens and long floral runners spanning the length of the table. Floral and crystal chandeliers hung above to create a center formal point in the room. The soft ceiling draping was complimented by the satin and sequin linens adorning the tables. Two additional crystal chandeliers were suspended above the dance floor so that as guests danced the night away, the soft lighting bounced around the room. The celebration portion of the evening was really important to both Ellen and Todd. Their energetic party DJ was one of the first creative partners the couple brought on board for their big day. They also were really involved with all the bar decisions for the night. Todd and his brothers are all owners of a winery in California, so of course special reserve bottles were poured late into the evening. Ellen created a specialty cocktail that fit her palette and aesthetic called a blushing bride, served in a champagne flute complete with a pink rock candy!
