Notes from the Bride and Groom:
Rustic, simple, romantic and intimate.
We wanted a small elopement with just close family around us. We view marriage as a very personal and cherished commitment between the bride and groom and wanted our ceremony to reflect that. Matt grew up Jewish so we're incorporating traditional glass stomping! We're having a large reception with all of our friends and family in August 2018 in Dennis, MA at the Cape Cod Museum of Art.
The beauty of the Bells! We didn't need to do anything else, the scenery was enough! Aspen is a magical, magnetic place and truly demonstrated the beauty of Colorado that we have loved and enjoyed over the last 7 years. We're looking forward to sharing that with our family members, especially those that have never been to Colorado before!
We met Freshman year of college at the University of New Hampshire through a mutual friend and remained friends for all 4 years. Our senior year, we were neighbors and began dating. We went on a few trips that summer and ultimately said our first "I love you's" on a vacation in Cape Cod. 6 months after we graduated, we moved to Colorado from New Hampshire. After living and being together for 6.5 years, Matt popped the question on a hike at Mt Falcon in the fire-lookout with our pup Ziggy and a bottle of Veuve Cliquot (he knows bubbly is the way to my heart). We were engaged for 1.5 years and are getting married a few days after our 8 year anniversary together!

What a gorgeous wedding! My fiancé and I are getting married here this September and I cannot wait! I've been trying to gather ideas from other people who have gotten married here. :) how strict were they with enforcing the "50 people max" rule at the amphitheater? We are just curious if we had a few extra people, would they really even notice? Or is a park ranger there actually counting how many guests walk up? Thank you!
