Krista and Robert chose to ring in the New Year and a new chapter in their lives in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park. They met in South Africa while studying abroad and chose Estes Park because Krista grew up in Denver and during family vacations, they would always spend time in the park and surrounding mountains so it seemed like a natural place to celebrate! They loved the winter season mixed with the beautiful landscape of Wild Basin and wanted an elevated mountain event. Their guest wrapped themselves in cozy embroidered blankets for an outdoor ceremony just as the sunset on the last day of the year. They wrote their own vows and reflected on their nine plus years together. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the glow of the fire, hot drinks and danced and celebrated into the New Year!
