Notes from the bride, Nicolette:
It all started 12 years ago in the summer when a boy caught my eyes. Someone I knew right at the moment I wanted to spend time with. Months went by together, together and happy. Until we, as young, teens drifted apart. We hadn't heard or see each other in years, besides at a red light here or there. I then saw a picture of him wake boarding and wanted to just say hi. And it all came back! From that point we grew together... we never spent time apart. It was like we just started where we had left off years before. Then in september 2015, in the very same spot he gave my first kiss, he dropped down in front of me and said:"My first kiss, my first love, God brought us back together from up above."Then he pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. The rest is history! My dream came true and I ended up with my first true love.
The Wedding: Of course the wedding had to be in September, how could it not. After months of creating the most intricate details for her wedding, from the paper flowers for the arch and the bouquet, the arch itself, gifts, table backdrop, and all the little details, the wedding was here. The morning was absolutely gorgeous as everyone brought all of the beautiful decorations and details together. Family working to make this day the most beautiful wedding day Nikki could have. Nikki and Matt chose to have an intimate vow reading before the ceremony. It was the most magical moment, set under a giant cottonwood tree with branches wrapping around them, and light pouring in. A simple moment that meant so much, it was perfectly intimate and incredibly beautiful. The ceremony was filled with love, laughter, joke and of course a huge family sending their love and blessings.
