Notes from the photographer, Nicole Lenzen: Sarah Katherine and Justin planned an intimate wedding ceremony and reception with family and friends traveling from Louisiana to Beaver Creek for a wedding week of activities. They have a deep love family. They both have children from previous marriages and when Sarah Katherine contacted me about photographing their intimate wedding (about 25 guests in all), I was so excited to have the opportunity to tell their wedding story. Including her girls in the process of getting ready was so important to her. The day of the wedding, all of the girls gathered together in the room, ecstatic about the day ahead, was such a joy to photograph. It was rainy most of the day. It continued to rain right up until everyone gathered at Allie's Cabin at the top of Beaver Creek mountain. Just as set up began on the deck for the ceremony, the clouds parted and the sun began to shine for truly one of the most emotional ceremonies I've ever witnessed.
