Background story of Myca & Chris, told by Myca: As for Chris and I, we met on a train traveling from NYC to Denver. It was for a youth group trip and we did not meet until the last day because over 200 people went. We stayed up the entire night talking. It was ironic because my old boyfriend was sitting next to chris and I ended up taking his spot without knowing. All to say we have been together ever since, 7 years from June '09. We were able to grow up together and know eachother on a deeper level than anyone we knew. People, especially those older than us never thought we could really be "in love" at such a young age so we were happy to prove them wrong. When I studied abroad in Australia we knew we wanted to get married. Chris proposed on a completely private beach in the islands of the Great Barrier Reef.
