Notes from the photographer: Erin and Nate's wedding was in a holding pattern due to the historic Colorado floods this past fall. Their venue Lionscrest Manor is in the heavily hit town of Lyons, Colorado. The town was cut off from the out side world and residents had to leave for almost 4 weeks.
Lionscrest Manor sits on top of a mountain and has their own well water. The venue was physically unaffected. Many brides getting married there had to have their wedding relocated due to the town being closed. Erin and Nate's wedding was one of the first to be held at Lionscrest Manor. Even though the town was still shut the city allowed weddings to continue. Guests and vendors had to get a special pass to get through the National Guard checkpoint to attend their wedding.
