2013 Oscar Recap

The 2013 Oscars did not disappoint in the style category. There was a very classic feel to styles this year. A lot of pinks, metallics and neutrals worn among the best dressed. I loved the feminine airiness to Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence gowns. By hugging past the waist, you still see their shape beautifully and then the gown portion really makes a statement. I also loved Charlize Theron in all white and a a pixie cut. She has one of those faces that pulls off the short do so well. In the bling category, Halle Berry wins the award. Striped and structured, the Versace ensemble was quite the stunner on her.

This year LISTmember Liz Finkelstein of Mile High Style and Heather Dwight of Calluna Events {LISTmember Weddings} threw an amazing Oscar viewing party at Frasca in Boulder. I was lucky enough to be invited to this glamorous event and the turnout of stunning women and dapper gents was a sight to be seen. With signature cocktails, Pizzaria Locale for dinner and a gilded red-velvet Shamanes cake, beautiful details everywhere and a swag bag filled with local goodies; this is the way to watch the Oscars in true style.
