Through your generosity The Love for Lily Organization have served more than 150 families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in our Breakfast groups for moms and families living with babies in the NICU.
They have delivered more than 500 Essentials Bags to families admitted to the NICU. Our 3rd grant is open for appicants & will be awarded at the Masquerade Ball.
Together, they can continue to provide support & expand our service in the Denver Metro Area.
This organization and event holds a special place in my heart. My twin daughters were born two months premature and spent one month in the NICU. We were lucky. They were ahead of the game and could breathe on their own at birth and within only a month they went from getting fed through a feeding tube to a bottle and gained a 1 pound each making them just over 4 lbs. The NICU staff was incredible and made us feel at ease through this process. The doctors kept us informed daily and the nurses taught us how to care for them. We feel very blessed and grateful for our NICU experience.
