  • Sugar 18 cup
  • Flour 4 cup
  • Milk, evaporated 2 cans
  • Egg, yolk, fresh 24 fl. Oz.
  • Butter 2 cups
  • Extract, vanilla 5 tsp
  • Salt, kosher to taste
  • Instructions:
Combine sugar, flour and evaporated milk and bring to a boil Whisk together egg yolks and temper into milk mixture Bring to slow boil to complete liason Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla Strain through china cap Cool immediately
