Notes from the bride, Courtney: We wanted our wedding to have a sort of classic meets bohemian theme. Our relationship has always been free and easy going, and I really wanted our wedding ceremony to reflect this aspect of our relationship. My favorite moment of the day was walking down the isle. When I turned the corner I could see that Joe was crying as he watched me, and it was such a magical moment. It made all the stress of planning a wedding worth it. My favorite decor was my flower crown. I used Lace and Lillie's, an incredible florist out of Fort Collins, and they did a great job of creating decor & arrangements that matched my style. My advice to a Colorado couple would be two things; first, if you are having an outdoor wedding get a tent. Colorado weather will either be your best friend or your worst enemy. For us it was both in a matter of 30 minutes. Second, follow your heart. This sounds so corny, but I think it's really important to hear as a Bride. The second people find out you're engaged, you're offered handfuls of unwanted advice. Take what you want, and respectfully leave the rest. A wedding should be a personal reflection of YOUR relationship.
