The Broadmoor Seven Falls Soaring Adventure from laura Dombrowski on Vimeo. 1. For the Thrill. 300 - 1,800 feet glides over Seven Falls Canyon 2. Two Unique Zip-Line Courses. You have the option to choose the full tour, approximately a four-hour excursion, or experience one of two distinct courses of the aerial, a two and a half hour excursion. 3. Zip Line in the Snow. The Broadmoor's Soaring Adventure is open year round. Gliding over a snowy canyon? Yes, please! 4. Avoid I-70 Traffic. Take a adventurous mountain day trip without being stuck in I-70 traffic. 5. Seven Falls. Take 224 steps up a magnificent series of waterfalls located in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon. These steps lead to hiking trails and the banks of the glistening streams that feed the 181-foot drop of falling water at the falls. If youre looking for great sightseeing in Colorado Springs, Seven Falls is the only Colorado waterfall included on National Geographics list of international wonders. And The Seven Falls park fee is included in the price of the Soaring Adventure. 6. Scenery. The vast mountain views do not stop with the zip lining or The Seven Falls. You will depart The Seven Falls on The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado. This natural box canyon's walls rise over 900 feet above the canyon floor while narrowing to a mere 41 feet apart. 7. Hike. Seven Falls has three beautiful trails of varying degree of difficulty. These trails give you a chance to immerse yourself in Colorados mountain landscape while enjoying our unparalleled scenery and wildlife. 8. Good Eats. The newest Broadmoor dining experience is every bit as unique as its location and setting. The restaurant, named1858 for the year the Colorado gold rush began, is situated at The Broadmoor Seven Falls. Surrounded by the areas extraordinary natural grandeur, the rustic design of 1858 fits into its scenic setting beautifully, featuring hand-hewn stone, reclaimed barn wood and large wooden beams. This uniquely Colorado theme is carried through in the interior dcor and menu. Entre selections feature sustainably raised meats, including the 1858 Mixed Grill with Eagles Nest Ranch quail, bison roast, venison sausage, black pepper roasted garlic spaetzle, and summer pole beans; and Slow Roasted Prime Rib with roasted potatoes, garden vegetables, and butter popover. Guests can also enjoy Colorado Rocky Mountain Trout prepared in a variety of ways. I personally had the Cast Iron Classic Colorado Rocky Mountain Trout and would highly recommend it! 9. Relax with a Cocktail. Because you will need a cocktail after experiencing the thrill-seeking zip line, hike, and 224 steps at Seven Falls. Restaurant 1858 was a vast list of cocktails that are not only creative and but oh-so-yummy. I personally had The La Violeta: (1910) Partida Silver Tequila, Maraschino Liqueur, Crme de Violette, Citrus. Very Yummy and the perfect way to end my adventurous day. 10. Broadmoor White-Glove Service. All of this with the five-star service that The Broadmoor delivers oh-so elegantly every single visit.
